"I highly recommend Executive Chef Larry Roby for any occasion. He prepared a scrumptious meal for me and my sorority sisters during a girls get-a-way. The food was well seasoned and very tasty, we didn't have to lift a finger as far as preparation or clean up, and more importantly Larry has a wonderful personality. God has truly blessed Larry with a special talent and I pray that he will continue to use it for his glory. Danyell Diggs

Dear Larry, Thank you so much for making our Christmas so enjoyable. We appreciate all of the extras that you provided. Have a wonderful spring, |
| Dear Chef Larry,
Thank you so much for the excellent presentation of our feast. Everything from the Pineapple/Coconut chicken as the appetizer to the salad with scrumptious fresh Raspberry vinaigrette. The perfectly grilled steaks and wonderfully seasoned vegetables. To the most delightful flaming Bananas Foster as dessert just capped off our week at Deep Creek Lake. All of the food was delicious and your time spent preparing and entertaining us was wonderful, especially your patience with the children. We had several dinners and lunches out at the local restaurants which were all pretty good, but your food made the rest PALE in comparison. Thanks again. We look forward to having you back again. Joan & Duncan Wright
Dear Chef Larry, This is a great big THANKS for all the work you did to make the cookout we had ’effortless.’ I was truly amazed that I had nothing to do but greet my guest, enjoy their company, socialize, and of course eat your “WONDERFULLY” prepared meal. I was so impressed with your attitude and organization in handling the multitudes of details. Everyone thanked me for a great time and great food, but I told them that they needed to be thanking you. S, from all of them and especially from Ray and I... THANKS! Ray & Cathy Meyers

| Dear Chef Larry,
The special dining event you prepared for Rose Ann and I on June 13th was unsurpassed in quality, demeanor and satisfaction. We have been talking about it everyone, who have referred to it as an event with style and class. We cannot say enough about the way you prepared the dishes, with pleasing aromas that teased the sense of smell until tasting the presented foods which satisfied ALL the senses!!! Watching you prepare the food in itself was very enlightening and most entertaining, like having your very own TV show cooking Chef giving a private performance. Your swift and efficient way of preparing each dish, from appetizer to salad to main course to dessert was a treat to the eye, not to mention how delicious it all tasted. While Rose Ann and I were reflecting on the event of that evening we were mostly touched by you.... your compassionate attitude and humble style laced with confidence and understanding, and spiced with a zest for life and the love of God. You have created a very memorable evening for us, one we will never forget...Thank you so much for all you did. Till next time. Bob & Rose Ann |

Dear Chef Larry, Thanks for making my weekend so perfect! We decided to do it every year now, so I will be in touch to book next year!. Rick & Nancy Raphael |
| Dear Chef Larry,
My wife is one of those people that have everything she needs. Well almost everything. So for me, her husband, Christmas and birthdays are a challenge. These accasions are always a test of my creativity, sensitivity, and resources and I have managed thus far to always" best: my efforts in previous celebrations. This year was her 50th birthday. A milestone for sure. On her 49th I had set myself up for what I saw as the biggest challenge for number 50. Her 49th fell on 9/9/99!. In February of that year I started calling the Oprah show for tickets for that day. At the end of August I got them. We flew to Chicago the day before, she saw Oprah on her birthday, and we went to an unbelievable Thai restaurant called Arun’s. We flew back to Baltimore, got in the car and drove to Deep Creek Lake for the week. She was blown away and I was thrilled. But what in the world could top Oprah for this her 50th birthday!. Chef Larry Roby was the answer. She wanted to go back to the same house we stayed in the year before. That was easy. Gorgeous exotic flowers and balloons arrived around 3:00. I could see by her smile that we were on the right track. At 5:00 Corinne was in the back yard with our dog Geena when Chef Larry arrived. Dressed in Chef whites and stove pipe hat, even I was impressed. I asked her to come into the house and I introduced Corinne to Chef Larry Roby, her personal Chef for the evening. That did it! She was beaming, speechless and I think I saw a trace of a tear. Chef and I spent just a few minutes on the phone that week, planning the menu. Together we decided on Portabellas with crab for an appetizer. Then Caesar salad. She loves Salmon, I love Halibut. Both with a Lemon Buerre Blanc sauce. Wild rice and a aromatic Zucchini saut’e with Almonds and fresh Pear!. Afresh local fruit garnish was difficult to resist. Dessert was a double chocolate cake with butter cream icing. We brought our own wines, though Chef is qualified to help with that selection as well. His tableside manner was as professional as any I’ve ever seen. For the most part, we hardly knew he was there. I am a foodservice professional and recognize high quality when I see it and taste it. Both Salmon and Halibut are a challenge to cook properly. His skills in preparation and presentation are masterful, and his timing was flawless. If you have not yet treated yourself to a “Personal chef”, I strongly suggest that you allow Chef Larry Roby the opportunity to bring you a wonderful dining experience!.
